STEP 1: Go to www.makemytrip.com

 

STEP 2: Click on the option “Login or create account’.

 

STEP 2: Enter your mobile number or email address registered to MMT account and click on ‘continue’. An OTP will be received on your email or mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on ‘Login’.

 

STEP 3: Now you are logged in to your account. You will see your name at the place of login or create account. Click on your name on this page.

STEP 5: As you click on the ‘My Trip’ your recent booking will be appeared on the screen. Click on the link ‘Cancel Booking’ on the right side of your booking details.

 

STEP 6: Your booking details will be appeared once again. Again click on the link ‘Cancel Entire Booking’.

 

STEP 7: On this page you are asked to select a reason for why do you want to cancel the ticket. We select here ‘Other’. As you select ‘Other’ you are asked to enter your reason. Write your reason of cancellation and click on ‘proceed to cancel’ button.

 

STEP 8: Your amount to be refund will be appeared on the screen. On the bottom of the page you have to select your refund mode. You will see two refund modes here. One is the MMT wallet and the other is the original payment mode.

 

If you select MMT wallet it will be reflect on your MMT wallet immediately. If you select original payment mode then it will take 1-2 working days to refund your money to your bank account. But if you have paid the amount through UPI then the money will be refunded to your account immediately.

 

Select the refund mode and click on ‘proceed to cancel’.

 

STEP 9: Finally you are asked whether you are going to cancel your booking? Click on ‘confirm cancellation’. Your booking will be canceled.
