How to add payee in ICIC Bank:

We are discussing the process of adding payee in ICIC Bank through ICICI Bank mobile banking app iMobile. Hence if you have not registered in the ICICI Bank mobile banking app then register first and then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to ICICI Bank mobile banking app iMobile and login to your account.

 

STEP 2: On the dashboard of the account you will find an option ‘Send Money’. Click on this option.

 

STEP 3: You will be redirected to ‘Send Money’ page. See on the bottom bar of the page. Here you will find some options. Out of them one will be ‘Add/Manage Payee’. Click on this option on this page.

 

STEP 4: In this page you are asked to select your account type first. Select the account type as within ICICI Bank or other bank. Select as your account belongs to.

 

Then enter payee account number, re-enter the payee account number, name of the payee, IFSC of the bank which payee account belongs to etc.

 

As you go to enter the payee name a pop up window will be appeared. It will ask you if you want to verify the payee name with the payee account number you have entered. It will take 99 rupees as a charge. Click on ‘Skip’ button here.

 

Finally entering all the details click on ‘submit’.

 

STEP 5: An advisory regarding scam may appear. If appeared then click on ‘I understand’ otherwise you will be directly on the confirmation page.

 

Here the details you have entered will be appeared once again. Check the details and click on ‘submit’.

 

STEP 6: An OTP will be received on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP here or it will automatically entered the OTP and verify.

 

After successfully verified the OTP alert will be displayed. It says ‘payee has been added successfully. In 24 hours you can transfer up to INR 2 lakhs to this payee’. Now click on OK.
