How to set standing instruction in ICICI Bank?

 

Hello friends, in this article we are describing the process how to set standing instruction in ICICI Bank. If you are an ICICI Bank customer and suppose you need to send money to an account number every month from your ICICI Bank account. Then you can set an auto pay instruction means a standing instruction on your ICICI Bank account. Then it will automatically transfer money every month on the selected date.

 

For setting a standing instruction on your ICICI Bank account you should add the account number to which you want to send money first and then you can set standing instruction for that account. If you set standing instruction then you don’t need to transfer money every month. Once you set it, money will be automatically transferred every month for the time period you have selected.

 

Many ICICI Bank account holders need to send money to other account number every month. But they don’t know to set standing instruction or about standing instruction. That is why we are discussing the process on this description.

 

How to set standing instruction in ICICI Bank:

We are discussing the process of setting standing instruction in ICICI Bank through ICICIC Bank mobile banking app iMobile app. Hence if you have not registered iMobile app before, then register first and follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to immobile app and login to your account.

 

STEP 2: You will be on your account’s dashboard. Here you will find an option ‘Send Money’. Click on this option.

 

STEP 3: Now you are on the ‘Send Money’ page. First you are asked to select payee on this page. Click on the cursor on the payee name box. A list of different payees which you have added to your account will be appeared on the screen. Select the payee for which auto pay to be set.

 

STEP 4: You will see three options under transfer type. These are IMPS, NEFT and RTGS. Select NEFT or /RTGS here.

 

Then select transfer later option. Thereafter you have to select transfer date. Select a date in which you have to send money every month or every quarter.

 

Again you need to select payment type. You will see two payment types one is ‘Once’ and the other is ‘Recurring’. Select ‘Recurring’ here because we need to transfer money in a recurring order.

 

Select the payment frequency of your need. You can select the frequency as monthly or quarterly.

 

After selecting the frequency you have to enter number of installment. Enter how much time you need to send money. Entering all the details click on ‘Proceed’.

 

STEP 5: Once the details you have entered on the above steps will be appeared on the screen. Check the details you have entered and click on ‘confirm’.

 

STEP 6: You are asked to enter MPIN of iMobile app. Enter the MPIN here.

 

The standing instruction will be set successfully. Now from the next schedule date money will be transferred automatically. This is the process how to set auto pay in ICICI Bank.
