Suppose you have given your mother’s or father’s name as nominee at the time of PPF account opening. After sometimes you have got married and you want to enter your wife’s name as nominee. In such conditions if you want to remove your existing nominee / update / add nominee in SBI PPF account then how to do it through Yono.

How to update nominee in SBI PPF account on Yono:

We are discussing the process of checking how to update nominee in SBI PPF account through Yono SBI mobile app. If you are also using Yono SBI mobile app then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to SBI Yono mobile app and login to your SBI account.

 

STEP 2: As you logged in to your account you will be on your account’s dashboard. On the bottom bar of the page you will see a ‘Service Request’ option. Click on this option here.

 

STEP 3: Some new options will be displayed on the screen after clicking on the ‘Service Request’ option. Here you will see a ‘view more’ option. Click on this option on this page.

 

STEP 4: Now you will see all the options under service requests. Click on the ‘Account’ option from the list.

 

STEP 5: Now again some other options will be appeared under the account section. You will find an option ‘Manage PPF Nominee’. Click on this option.

 

STEP 6: A pop up message will be appeared on the screen it says that only individual can be a nominee otherwise bank will not be liable for any legal issue. Click on OK button.

 

STEP 7:  You will see your existing nominee details on the page. Click on the pencil icon to update your existing nominee details. Click on the ‘remove’ button to delete the nominee. You can add another nominee by clicking on ‘Add nominee’.
