How to pay electricity bills using SBI reward points:

In this description we are discussing the process of paying electricity bills using SBI reward points through Yono SBI. Hence you need to register in Yono SBI first. If you have already registered on Yono SBI mobile app then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to Yono SBI mobile app and login to your account.

 

STEP 2: Click on the ‘SBI Rewardz’ on the bottom bar of the page.

 

STEP 3: As you click on ‘SBI Rewardz’ icon on the above step your available reward points will be displayed on the screen. Click on ‘Redeem Now’ link here.

 

STEP 4: You will be redirected to SBI reward point page. Here you will see your available reward points and their details. Again click on the ‘Redeem Now’ button on this page.

 

STEP 5: A pop up message will be displayed, you need to read the terms and conditions and if you agreed it then click on ‘I agree’.

 

STEP 6: Now you will be on www.sbirewardz.com website’s home page. Here you will be automatically logged in to your account. If you have not create an account before then you may asked to create an account. Hence create an account clicking on ‘Sign Up’.

 

STEP 7: After logged in to your SBI rewardz account you will see some options on the page. Click on ‘Recharge & Bill Payments’ out of the options.

 

STEP 8: As you click on ‘recharge and bill payments’ some more options related to recharge and bill payments will be appeared on the screen. Click on ‘Electricity’ on this page.

 

STEP 9: The electricity bill payment page will be appeared. First of all you have to select your electricity provider company name from the drop down menu. Select the provider’s name here.

 

STEP 10: After selecting the electricity company name you are asked to enter your consumer Id. Enter the consumer Id, accept the terms and conditions and click on ‘Proceed’.

 

STEP 11: Now it will automatically fetch your bill details and the details will be appeared on the screen. Scroll down the page and check the details. Then click on ‘Pay’.

 

STEP 12: The order summary will be appeared on the screen. You can also use coupon code or voucher available for your account. Here the required points for your bills will be appeared on the screen. Select the circle against the points required to redeem and click on ‘make payment’.

 

STEP 13: An OTP will be sent to your mobile number linked with SBI Rewardz account. Enter the OTP and ‘Confirm’. Your bill payments will be successful.

 

It will take 10-15 minutes to update the bill payment to your electricity account.
