How to request money on BHIM app from any UPI Id?

Suppose you have to receive money from any person and you are a BHIM UPI user. If you send a money request to that person’s UPI id then he can easily send money to you by just approving the request. He or she doesn’t need to enter your UPI Id, amount or scan any QR to send money to you. He or she can send money to you just approving your request.

 

If you are a shopkeeper and you want to send money request to your customer for an item price he or she pursues from you. Then you can easily do it. Actually it is very easy to the money sender to send the money. He needs to just approve the request.

How to request money on BHIM app:

On the following steps we are discussing the process. If you want to know the process of sending money request from any UPI follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to BHIM UPI app and login to your account.

 

STEP 2: As you logged in to your account, you will see the dashboard of your account. On this page you will see an option ‘Request Money’. Click on this option here.

 

STEP 3: In this page you are asked to select your contact which is linked to a UPI to whom you have to send money request. Or enter a UPI Id from whom you have to ask money. After entering the contact or UPI Id click on ‘Verify’.

 

STEP 4: You will be redirected to request money page. Here you will see the name and UPI Id of the person to whom you are sending money request. Then enter the amount, enter a validity date of your request and a remark so that the money sender can understand the payment purpose.

 

After entering all the details click on ‘request’.

 

Your money request will be sent successfully. Once the sender receive the request and approve the request, the requested money will be deposited to your account. This is the process how to send money request on BHIM UPI.
