your return using SBI internet banking.
Income tax department gives this facility to their tax payer
so that they can e-verify their return after file. Many times people can’t
complete e-verification process instantly while they are filing their return.
In such situation income tax department gives a period of 30 days. Within which
they should have to e-verify their return.

How to
e-verify ITR through SBI net banking:
Before going to verify ITR through SBI net banking you should
have a filed ITR. If so then follow the following steps.
STEP 1: Go to
SBI net banking login page and login to your SBI account.
STEP 2: Now you
are on the SBI account dashboard. Here you will see some tabs on the upper bar
of the page. Click on the tab ‘e-Tax’.
STEP 3: As you
click on the ‘e-Tax’ tab then some other options will be appeared on the
screen. Click on the option ‘Login to e-filling/e-Verify’.
STEP 4: Your
savings bank account number will be appeared on the screen. Select the account
number and click on ‘Submit’.
STEP 5: An OTP
will be sent to your registered mobile number with your bank account. Enter the
OTP and click on ‘confirm’.
STEP 6: Your
account number, PAN number, Bank IFSC code will be displayed on the screen.
Here you are asked some terms and conditions like you will be redirected to
third party website income tax India. Read all the details and click on ‘Confirm’.
STEP 7: Now
place your cursor on ‘e-file’ then on ‘Income tax return’ then on ‘e-Verify
Return’.
STEP 8: You
will be on the e-verification page. Here you will see your filed ITR and a ‘e-Verify’
tab. Click on this tab here.
STEP 9: Again
on this step you will see your filed ITR and a question ‘how do you want to e-verify’.
On the answer you will see it is automatically selected ‘Through Net banking’.
Click on ‘Continue’ here.
STEP 10: Your
ITR will be ‘e-verified’ successfully and the transaction Id will be appeared
on the screen.
