How to book bus ticket in IRCTC app?

 

Hello friends, in this article we are discussing on how to book bust ticket in IRCTC app. If you are using IRCTC mobile app for booking train ticket, air ticket etc. You can also book bus ticket through IRCTC app.

 

Many of IRCTC mobile app users wanted to know how to book bust ticket using IRCTC app. Therefore we are describing the process of booking bus ticket on IRCTC mobile app on this blog. On the following paragraphs we are describing the step by step process.

 

How to book bus ticket in IRCTC app:

If you are IRCTC user then you can book bus ticket from IRCTC website and mobile app. But in this description we are describing the process through IRCTC rail connect app. If you have not registered with IRCTC mobile app yet, then register first and then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to your mobile and open the IRCTC rail connect mobile app. You will see Train, Flight, Bus etc. options on the home page. Click on ‘Bus’ option here.

 

STEP 2: As you click on ‘Bus’ option on the above step you will be redirected to bus ticket booking webpage. On this page first you have to enter your depart from, going to and the date of journey. After entering the details click on ‘Search bus’ button.

 

STEP 3: List of available buses will be appeared on the screen. Check the suitable bus for you and click on ‘select seat’ button against your selected bus.

 

STEP 4: As you click on ‘select seat’ on the above step, seat map will be appeared on the screen. Select your favourite seat from the map. Here those seats which are seen dark are already occupied and which appeared white are available for booking. Select your seat on this page and click on ‘proceed to book’.

 

On this page you will also see your boarding point and dropping point with timing.

 

STEP 5: A pop up window will be appeared on the screen. Here you are asked to login. You will get two login option on is with IRCTC user Id and password and the other is guest login with email Id and mobile number. Here we select guest login and login with entering email id and mobile number.

 

STEP 6: After logged in to your account you need to enter your contact details like email address, mobile number and address. Enter all the details.

 

Then scroll down the page and enter passenger details like name of the passenger, gender and age of the passenger. Enter all the details, agree the terms and conditions and click on ‘Continue to book’.

 

STEP 7: An OTP will be sent to your email and mobile number. Enter the OTP on this page and click on ‘Verify’.

 

STEP 8: Again a pop up window will be appeared, check your ticket details and amount to be paid on this page and click on ‘Proceed for payment’.

 

STEP 9: Now you will be on the payment page here you can select internet banking, credit debit card, BHIM UPI, Phone pay etc. Select your choice of payment method and complete the payment.

 

The ticket will be sent to your mobile number and email Id. You can also download the ticket from this page also.
