are discussing how to invest in SBI mutual fund through Investap mobile app.
Actually you can invest in SBI mutual fund using any
demat account. But who has no any demat account and want to invest in SBI
mutual fund online then how to invest in SBI mutual fund online for the first
time.
Many customers want to know how to invest in SBI
mutual fund online through SBIMF app or website. Therefore we are discussing
the process on this article. Now in the next paragraphs we are going to
describe the step by step process.
How
to invest in SBI mutual fund SBIMF mobile app:
Before going to invest in SBI mutual fund using
investap mobile application you should register in SBI mutual fund app and verify your KYC online. Which we have discussed on the last article published
in this website. If you have completed the process then follow the following
steps to invest SBI mutual fund. Here we are discussing how to invest lump sum
amount in SBI mutual fund.
STEP
1:
First Go to SBI mutual fund app on your mobile and login to the application
using MPIN or fingerprint.
STEP
2:
As you login to the app you are asked to enter your PAN number, enter your PAN
number and click on ‘Check investment status’ button.
STEP
3:
In this page you are asked to set up your mutual fund account. You need to go
through three steps the first one is ‘verify your PAN’ which we have done then
create your profile and browse scheme. These steps are displayed on the screen.
Now click on ‘SET UP PROFILE’ button.

4:
Now we are on ‘create new folio’ page. Select applicant type as ‘individual’
first and click on ‘Next’.

5:
In this step you need to fill the investor’s details. You have to enter your
mobile number, email address, occupation, DOB, gender and address of investor.
Enter all the details correctly and click on ‘Next’.

6:
Select mode of holder as ‘single’ on this page. You also have the option of
selecting holders as ‘Joint’ and ‘joint anyone/survivor’.

7:
You will be redirected to declaration page. In this page you need to enter your
place of birth, country of birth and nationality. You have to answer another
four questions. Here it askes ‘Are you a politically exposed person’ select the
answer as ‘No’.
‘I am a tax resident of any country other than India’
don’t turn on the button against this question.
‘I/we are not resident of US or Canada’, turn on the
button for this question.
‘I/we confirm that I/we am/are not an NRI’, turn on
the button against it.
Finally click on ‘Next’ button.
STEP
8:
In this step you will be on the nomination details page. Here trick on the box
before ‘I want to add a nominee details’ if you want to add nominee. Un-trick
the box if you don’t want to add nominee.
Enter the nominee name, relationship, date of birth
and allocation percentage. Click on ‘Add another nominee’ if you want to add
another nominee, otherwise click on ‘Next’ button.
STEP
9:
An OTP will be sent to your registered email and mobile number to approve the
nominee. Enter the OTP and click on ‘Submit’.

10:
In this page your bank account details will be displayed. Here you will find
the account details which you have entered at the time of registration in SBI mutual
fund app. Click on ‘Next’ button.

11:
Now you are ready for investment. Your folio number will be generated and
displayed on the screen. You are asked to ‘Set up OTM’. Set your OTM if you
want otherwise click on ‘Set up later’.

12:
You will be on the fund selection page. Find the fund name you want to invest
on the search bar. And click on the fund name.

The details of fund will be appeared on the screen. On the bottom of the page
you will fund a button ‘Invest Now’. Click on this button.

14:
Select the investment type lumpsum of SIP. We select lumpsum here. Enter the
amount you want to invest. For lumpsum you have to invest minimum Rs.5000/- for
the first investment. Thereafter you can do investment of Rs.1000/-, 2000/-,
3000/- etc.
Enter the amount you want to invest and click on the
tab ‘invest in this fund’.
STEP
15:
You are on the investment confirmation page. Here you will find fund name,
folio number and selected amount for invest. Click on ‘Proceed to pay’.

16:
Now select your payment method, you can select internet banking, UPI, debit
card, credit card etc. Then click on ‘Continue’ and complete your transaction.

17:
After successful transaction reference Id, folio number, etc. and successful
message will be displayed.
Now after one day you will see your investment value
