How to open RD in Yono SBI?

 

Hello friends, in this article we are discussing on how to open RD in Yono SBI? If you are a SBI costumer and you are using Yono SBI mobile application then you can easily open an e-RD through SBI Yono app.

 

Many of SBI customers don’t want to visit branch for such small reason. Here SBI has given the facility to their customers to open recurring deposit online. You can open recurring deposit through internet banking, Yono Lite SBI and Yono app.

 

In the following paragraphs we are going to describe the steps of opening recurring deposit in SBI online. We described here specially how to open recurring deposit through Yono SBI.

 

How to open RD in Yono SBI:

Before going to open a RD in Yono SBI you should register with Yono SBI mobile app first. If you have already registered with the application then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to your mobile, open Yono SBI app and log in to your account.

 

STEP 2: Now you are logged in to your account and you are on the dashboard of your account. In this dashboard you will find an icon ‘Deposits’. Click onthis icon here.

 

STEP 3: As you click on ‘Deposits’ you will be redirected to another page. In this page you will see some deposit related options like fixed deposit, recurring deposit, my goal etc. Click on ‘Recurring Deposit’ here.

 

STEP 4: In this step you are asked to enter the recurring deposit amount per month and select bank account from which the amount has to be deducted. Enter your recurring deposit amount and select your Bank account here. Finally click on ‘Next’.

 

STEP 5: In this page you have to select your recurring deposit tenure like year and month. You need to enter the date of a month in which the amount has to be deposited in RD account. Enter both data as your choice.

 

You can also check the current recurring deposit rate of interest in SBI by clicking on ‘view interest rates’. After entering RD tenure and date of deposit click on ‘Next’ button.

 

STEP 6: You will be reached on the confirmation page. In this page you will find the details you have selected on the above steps. You will also find your maturity date and the maturity amount.

 

You will see another link ‘View nominee details’. Click here to view/update the nominee and in the next page you can edit your nominee. In general the nominee of your savings bank account is the nominee of your deposit account.

 

If all are OK on this page then click on ‘Confirm’ button. Your RD account will be generated. If you go to deposit account section then you will find your recurring deposit account. From the next month your entered amount will be regularly deposited to your RD account.
