How to book flight ticket form IRCTC website:

To buy flight ticket from IRCTC you have to follow some simple steps. Here are the steps of booking a flight ticket in IRCTC.

 

STEP 1: Go to the website www.air.irctc.co.in and open the home page of the website.

 

STEP 2: On the page you have to select mode of travel one way or round trip. You can also select discounted fare for dafence, LTC, govt. employee fare etc. Here you are also asked to select origin city, destination city, travel date, number of traveler etc. Select all the details from the boxes and click on ‘search’.

 

STEP 3: In this page all the flights operated between the cities you have selected on selected date will be appeared. Click on the ‘Book’ option against your flight of choice.

 

STEP 4: A pop up window will be appeared. Here you are asked to login to IRCTC account. Login to IRCTC account using your IRCRC Id and password or click on ‘guest user login’ and enter your email Id and mobile number. Finally click on ‘sign in’.

 

STEP 5: Now you will logged in to IRCTC account as a guest and you will reach at another page. In this page you will see your flight details. You are also asked to enter the passenger details and contact details. Enter the all details correctly and click on ‘continue’ button.

 

STEP 6: You will be redirected to another page. In this page your flight details, passenger details and contact information will be displayed. You have to confirm the details once. Check the details you have entered and check the final price on the right side of the page.

 

If all are found OK then click on ‘Make Payment’ button otherwise you can click on ‘back’.

 

STEP 7: An OTP will be sent to your mobile number and email address. This OTP will be valid for 15 minutes. Enter the OTP on the box and click on ‘validate OTP’.

 

STEP 8: Now you will be redirected to payment page. Here you can make payment using credit card, debit card, internet banking, UPI, wallets etc. Select your payment method and complete the payment.

 

STEP 9: After successful transaction your ticket will be displayed on the screen. Click on the “Print’ symbol to save or print your ticket.
