How to transfer money through UPI SBI?

 

Hi friends, in this discussion we are talking about how to transfer money through UPI SBI. If you are a SBI customer and you have activated UPI Id in SBI then you can easily send money to another person using SBI UPI.

 

You can send money by four ways. One is by entering anyone’s UPI Id, scanning QR code of an UPI Id, by entering account number and IFSC code, by entering mobile number which is linked to an UPI Id. But we are discussing the process using contact details.

How to transfer money through UPI SBI:

Before going to send money using SBI UPI you need to activate UPI Id in SBI first. If you have activated UPI ID then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to SBI Yono mobile application and login to your account.

 

STEP 2: Now you are logged in to your account. On this page you will see some icons. Out of them click on the icon ‘Yono Pay’.

 

STEP 3: After clicking on ‘Yono Pay’ icon on the above step the options under Yono Pay will be appeared. Here click on the option ‘BHIM UPI’.

 

STEP 4: Now you will be redirected to BHIM UPI page. On this page you will see the UPI Id, Contacts, Bank Account, Scan QR options. Click on the option Contacts here.

 

STEP 5: Now you need to search and select the contact number to which you have to send money. Keep in mind that the contact number should linked to any UPI Id.

 

STEP 6: As you select the contact number the UPI Id linked with the mobile number will be displayed on the screen. You have to verify the UPI Id. Click on ‘Verify’ button here.

 

STEP 7: In this step you will see the name and UPI Id of the person to whom you are sending money. Here you are asked to enter the amount to be sent, select a purpose form the drop down menu. Sender’s UPI Id will also be displayed on this screen.

 

Enter all the details and click on ‘Next’ button.

 

STEP 8: In this page you are asked to review the details you have selected. Check the details once more and click on ‘Pay’ button.

 

STEP 9: A new page will open, in this page you have to enter your UPI PIN. Enter the UPI PIN and click on the trick mark.

 

STEP 10: Successful payment message and transaction reference Id will be displayed on the screen.
