How to reset IRCTC user name?

 

Hello friends, in this blog we are describing about how to reset IRCTC user name. If you have an IRCT C account and you have forgot your User Id then how to reset IRCTC forgot user name.

 

Actually many people registered to IRCTC to book their railway tickets online. But many of them are not frequent traveler. They travel when they need. In that situations they may forgot their IRCTC user Id and password. As they have not use the IRCTC account for a long time and therefore they forgot the user Id and password.

 

In the last blog we have described how to reset IRCTC forgot password and now in this blog we are discussing on how to reset IRCTC User Name. To reset IRCTC user name you must remember your email which is registered with IRCTC. Because of the user Id is sent to your registered e-mail Id onliy.

 

How to reset IRCTC User Name:

To reset IRCTC User Id we will use the IRCTC mobile connect mobile app and therefore we are describing the process about IRCTC mobile app only. For that you must have to install IRCTC connect mobile app on your mobile. Now follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to your mobile and open the ‘IRCTC Connect’ mobile application.

 

STEP 2: Now your mobile application will be open you are on the dash board of IRCTC mobile app. On the right side top corner of the page you will see an ‘Login’ button’. Click on this login button.

 

STEP 3: In this step you will see the login page of IRCTC account. Here you are asked to enter your user name and password to login. You also see an option ‘Forgot User Name / Password’ option just under the password box. Click on the ‘forgot user name’ option.

 

STEP 4: As you click on the ‘Forgot User Name’ option an pop up window will be open. Here you are asked to enter your registered email Id, date of birth and the captcha code shown on the page. Enter the details correctly and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

 

STEP 5: A pop up message will be displayed it says that your User Id has been sent to your registered email.

 

Now check your registered email’s inbox and you will find a mail from IRCTC and you will find your IRCTC account User Id here. This is the process how to reset IRCTC account’s user name.
