How to save driving license in DigiLocker app?

How to upload driving license in DigiLocker app:

Before going to save driving license in DigiLocker app you need to install the app on your mobile and then create your DigiLocker app. Thereafter you can save your driving license on DigiLocker. To know how to add driving license in DigiLocker app follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to your mobile and open the DigiLocker app.

 

STEP 2: Click on the option ‘Get Started’ option.

 

STEP 3: As you click on ‘get started’ a new page will open. Here you are asked to login to your account entering your mobile number and password. You will also see an option ‘Create Account’. Click on this option.

 

STEP 4: A new page will open. Here you need to enter your name, mobile number which linked with aadhaar, date of birth, gender, create a 6 digit PIN, email address and Aadhaar number. Enter all the details here and click on ‘submit’. An OTP will be received on your mobile number then submit the OTP and your account will be created.

 

STEP 5: Again go to the login page and enter your registered mobile number or Aadhaar number and 6 digit PIN and click on ‘sign in’.

 

STEP 6: An OTP will be received on your registered mobile number. Enter the mobile number and click on ‘submit’. Now you will be logged in to your account.

 

STEP 7: Now you need to find and click on the icon ‘Ministry Of Road Transport and Highway’. If you don’t find the icon on the page then you can also search by clicking on ‘browse’ option.

 

STEP 8: A new page will open. You will see some different tabs on the page. Click on the tab ‘Driving License’ out of them.

 

STEP 9: In this page your name and date of birth will be displayed. You are asked to enter your driving license here. Enter your driving license without entering any space or -. After entering the driving license number get trick on the box before ‘I provide my consents’ and click on ‘Get Document’ option.

 

STEP 10: Now your driving license will be displayed on the screen and driving license successfully added message will also be displayed on the screen. You can find the document under ‘issued document’ option.
