STEP 1: Go to www.uidai.gov.in website and open the home page of the website.

 

STEP 2: In this webpage you will see a ‘My Aadhaar’ tab. Place the cursor on it. As you placed the cursor on ‘my aadhaar’ tab some more options will be appeared. Out of them click on the option ‘Verify an Aadhaar number’ under the ‘Aadhaar services’.

STEP 3: Now a new page will open. In this page you need to enter the Aadhaar number for which you want to check originality. Enter the Aadhaar number and the captcha code shown on the box on this page and click on ‘Proceed to verify’ button.

 

Now the search result will be appeared. If the number is original then it will show the Aadhaar number is exist. The age range, gender and state of the aadhaar holder will be appeared. By this information you can judge a person’s information is true or false.
