How to download ITR form V online?

 

Hi guys, in this blog we are going to discuss about how to download ITR form V online. If you have filed your ITR recently but you haven’t done e-verify. Then you need to send the ITR form V dully signed to CPC Bangluru.

 

Many times people don’t have the mobile number linked with Aadhaar number on their hand. In that conditions they don’t receive OTP to e-verify the return and then they need to verify their return by sending the form V.

 

One should verify their income tax return within 120 days from the date of submission. So you need to send the ITR acknowledgement / form V to CPC Bangluru before 120 days. For that you need to download ITR form V from income tax website.

 

How to download ITR form V online:

You can download ITR form V by logging to your income tax account. Before going to download ITR form V you must submit ITR online. Hence keep in mind that your ITR was filed successfully. Then follow the following steps.

 

STEP 1: Go to the website www.incometax.gov.in and open the home page of the website.

 

STEP 2: As you open the home page of the above website you will see a ‘login’ option on the top bar of the page. Click on this option. A new page will be appeared. In this page you are asked to enter your PAN number. Enter the PAN number correctly and click on continue.

 

STEP 3: In this new page you need to trick on the box before the term ‘please confirm your secure assess massage’ and enter the login password of your PAN account. Enter the password here and click on ‘continue’ button.

 

STEP 4: Now you are logged in to your PAN account. Here you will see an option ‘e-file’. Place the cursor on this option. As you place the cursor on it an option ‘income tax return’ will be appeared. Again place the cursor on ‘income tax return’. Some more options will be appeared on the screen. Click on the option ‘view filed returns’ option out of them.

 

STEP 5: As you click on ‘view filed returns’ option on the above step. A new page will open. Here you will find your filed ITR. You will see the latest filed ITR on the top of the list.

 

You will see the details of return on the left side of the page and an option ‘download receipt’ on the right side of the page. Click on this option to download the document. Now you are asked to select the saving location and enter a name of the document on your PC. Enter a name and select the location where you want to save the document and finally click on ‘Save’ button.

 

Now your document will be saved to your PC. You can take a print out and sign on it. And send this document on the address written on the document by general post.

 

As CPC Bangluru received the document you will be received a massage on your mobile. It will also be updated on your ‘view filed return’ page.
