Hi friends, in this blog we are discussing about
‘how to download e-PAN card online’. If you have applied for a new PAN card or
for correction of PAN details recently and your application has been proceed by
NSDL. Then you can easily download your e-PAN card online.
After proceed of your PAN application by NSDL a
massage will receive on your mobile number. Then you can download the e-PAN
card. Before going to know how to download PAN card copy you should know that
the downloading of e-PAN card is free if your application is proceed within
last 30 days. And you will have to pay a fee of Rs.8.26 if your application is
proceed 30 days before.
How to download copy of PAN card:
Before going to download e-PAN you should also
receive the SMS from NSDL saying that your application has been proceed or you
are allotted PAN number. To download e-PAN card online you need to follow some
steps. Here is the step by step process of how to print PAN card copy online.
STEP
1:
Go to Google and search the term ‘PAN card download’.
STEP
2:
You will see the search results on the screen. Click on the first search result
where you see the link ‘Download e-Pan Card – NSDL’.
STEP
3:
Now you will be redirected to the e-PAN card download page of www.onlineservices.nsdl.com. In
this page you will get two options on the first point. You need to select any
one of them. The first one is ‘Acknowledgement number’ and the second one is ‘PAN’.
Here if you wish to download PAN using ‘Acknowledgement
number’ then select the ‘Acknowledgement number’ option. You will get this acknowledgement
number on SMS when your application for PAN or for correction in PAN is
received by NSDL and proceed by NSDL.
If you chose the ‘PAN’ option then you need to enter
your PAN number and Aadhaar number. Make sure that you have linked or submit
your Aadhaar number at the time of applying for PAN card.
Thereafter you have enter your month of birth and
year of birth and then enter the captcha code shown on the page and click on ‘submit’
button.
Here you will also see three instructions:
(a* This
facility is available for PAN holders whose latest application was proceed
through NSDL e-Govt.
(b* For
the PAN applications submitted through NSDL e-Gov where PAN is allotted or
changes are confirmed by ITD within last 30 days, e-PAN card can be downloaded
free of cost three times.
(c* If
the PAN is allotted / changes in PAN data are confirmed by ITD prior 30 days
then charges applicable for download or e-PAN card is Rs.8.26 (inclusive taxes)
Read and understand the instructions and then
proceed for it.
STEP
4:
In this page you will see your PAN number, registered mobile number, e-mail and
PIN code. You have to select any one option to receive OTP. The options are
e-mail Id, mobile number and both. Select the option as you like.
Thereafter trick on the box before the confirmation
description and then click on ‘Generate OTP’.

5:
An OTP will be received on your register mobile number, email Id or both of
them as you chose on the above step. Enter the OTP on this page and click on ‘Validate’
button.

6:
In this page it will say that your PAN download will free or not. A link ‘continue
with e-PAN card download’ will appear to download the PAN card. Click on this
link.

7:
If its need to make payment then you are redirect for make payment. And in this
page you have to select the payment mode as ‘online payment through PAYTM’ or ‘online
payment through Bill Desk’.
Select the option ‘online payment through Bill Desk’.

8:
A new page will appear. Here your payment details will be displayed. Then agree
the terms and services on the end of the page and click on ‘proceed to payment’
button.

Amount you have to pay and the transaction Id will be displayed. Click on ‘Pay
confirm’ button.

9: Now
your payment page will appear. Select your payment option like Internet
banking, credit card, debit card etc. and complete the payment.

10:
After successfully completed the payment the status of the payment and the
other details of the payment will be shown in this page. Click here on the ‘continue’
button.

11:
In this step you will get two links one is to download the e-PAN card and the
other is to download the receipt of the payment. Click on the link ‘Download
e-PAN’
STEP
12:
Again in this new page you will get two links one is ‘Download e-PAN PDF’ and ‘Download
e-PAN XML’. Click on the first option.
Keep in mind that the PDF will be password
protected. The password to open the PDF is your date of birth in the format
DDMMYYYY.

13:
Now your PAN card will be downloaded to your PC. Open the PDF using your date
of birth as password.
