Many times we
have booked Aadhaar appointment to update or new enrolment. But on the schedule
date we unable to reach the enrolment center. In that conditions we need to
cancel or reschedule Aadhaar appointment. Therefore in this blog we are
discussing about how to do Aadhaar appointment reschedule.
How to reschedule Aadhaar appointment online:
Here you will find the step by step procedure of
reschedule Aadhaar appointment online. Follow the following steps.
STEP
1:
Go to the website www.uidai.gov.in and
open the home page of the website.
STEP
2:
In this page you will see some different categories and some options under each
category. You need to find the option “book an appointment” option.
STEP
3:
A new page will be opened. In this page select your city and click on ‘proceed
to book appointment’. If your city is not found then click on the second ‘proceed
to book appointment’ option under registrar run Aadhaar seva Kendra.

4:
Now in this page enter your mobile number or email id which you have given at
the time of booking the appointment, enter the captcha code shown on the box
then click on ‘Send OTP’. An OTP will be received on your mobile number or
email id. Enter the OTP and click on ‘Submit OTP & Proceed’.

5:
In this page your appointment Id will be displayed. Click on the option ‘booking
details’ button.

6:
A pop up massage will be displayed and it shows the details of your appointment
details. An question it will ask “do you want to reschedule?” Click on the
option ‘Yes’.

7:
Here you need to search your nearest Aadhaar enrolment center. You can find it
by entering the name of the Aadhaar enrolment center, PIN number or entering the
state, district, post office etc. The easiest method is by entering the PIN of
your location. Enter the PIN and click on ‘get details’.

8:
The Aadhaar enrolment centers will be seen on the screen. Click on the ‘book
appointment’ option against the center. If you have not found any Aadhaar
center in your location then you can search by entering PIN code of any nearest
city.

9:
In this page you need to select a new date for reschedule your appointment and
select a time after that. After selecting the date and time click on the ‘submit’
option.

10:
A new page will open here you will see the new appointment details. You have to
confirm the appointment here. Click on the option ‘confirm’.
STEP
11:
Now in this page your new appointment letter will be displayed. Download the
letter and take a print out of this letter.
Bring this letter at the time of appointment at
Aadhaar center. In this letter the document required will also be listed. Take
the required document with you at the time of appointment.
