How to update mobile number in SBI mutual fund?

Hi friends, in this blog we are going to discuss about ‘how to update mobile number and e-mail Id in SBI mutual fund’. If you are a SBI mutual fund customer and you wish to update/ change your mobile number and email id in your portfolio then here we are discussing step by step process.

 

May be you have opened your SBI mutual fund investment through SBI branch or online. It does not matter. You can change mobile number in SBI mutual fund investment online. If you invest in SBI mutual fund offline then you need to register with SBI Mutual fund website www.sbimf.com first and then you need to link your folio number with this online account. We have already discussed about the process of register in SBI mutual fund website before.

 

How to update mobile number in SBI mutual fund:

Here is the step by step process of how to update mobile number in SBI mutual fund online. If you have opened your mutual fund through offline mode then you should go through the process only after registration with www.sbimf.com. And if you have opened investment online then you can go directly through login page.

 

You have to keep in mind that you need to have your e-mail id registered with SBI Mutual fund to receive OTP or the old mobile number which you are going to change. Most of the person have not their old mobile number hence you need the e-mail id which you have registered with SBI mutual fund.

 

Now we see the steps of how to change mobile number in SBI mutual fund.

STEP 1: Go to your browser and search the website www.sbimf.com. After searching the website click on the first search result “Mutual fund India-SBI Mutual Fund-Mutual Fund Investment”.

 

STEP 2: After click on this search result you will be on the home page of the SBI Mutual fund website. Now you will see an option “login” on the right corner of the page. Click on the “login” option.

 

STEP 3: Now you will be redirected to the login page of SBI Mutual fund’s account. Enter your user id (email id) and the password here and click on “login” option. You can also login selecting the OTP option.

 

STEP 4: Now you are logged in to your SBI Mutual fund account. An option “investor corner” will be seen on the upper bar of the page. Click on this option. A list of some another options will be opened. Find and click on the option “Request service” under the non-financial transactions.

 

STEP 5: Now in this new page a form will appear where you have to select "update details" option first and then select your request as ‘updation/ change of mobile number’ and then select your folio number from the drop down menu. After selection of both click on ‘Proceed’ button.

 

STEP 6: A new option appear under the form. Here again you are asked to enter your PAN number and Bank account number. Enter carefully both of them and click on ‘submit’ button.

 

STEP 7: In this page enter your new mobile number and re-enter the mobile number. After entering the mobile number on both enter and confirm box click on the ‘submit’ button.

 

STEP 8: An OTP will be send to your old registered email Id and old mobile number. Enter the OTP here and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

 

STEP 9: Now a massage will be displayed saying that your contact details has been updated successfully.
