How to cancel Aadhaar update request online:

STEP 1: Go to the website www.uidai.gov.in and open the home page of the website.

 

STEP 2: Here you will see some categories and some options under them. Here you have to find and click on the option “check online demographic update status”.

 

STEP 3: After click on “check online demographic update status” on the previous step you will be redirected to a new page where you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number, URN number which you have received at time of place update request and the captcha code shown on the page. Enter all the details correctly and click on the “Send OTP” button.

 

STEP 4: An OTP will be received on your registered mobile number with Aadhaar. Enter the OTP just under the “send OTP” button seen on the above step and click on “Check status” button.

 

STEP 5: In this step your status of Aadhaar update will be displayed. For failed and error payments it says that payment was not successfully completed for this request. Continue bellow to CANCEL this request and raise a new update request.

 

Now enter the captcha verification code and click on “Send OTP”.

 

STEP 6: Now again an OTP will be received on your registered mobile with Aadhaar. Enter the OTP and click on “cancel request” as shown on the bellow image.

STEP 7: In this step a massage will be seen that request cancelled successfully. Now you can raise Aadhaar correction request again.
