You can check income tax refund dispatch status to bank account by two ways. One is by login to e-filing income tax website and the second is through NSDL website. In NSDL website you need not login to your e-filing income tax India’s website.

 

How to check Income Tax refund dispatch status online: For checking income tax refund dispatch status to bank account you have to following steps. Here is the step by step process to check whether your refund is credited to your bank account or not.

STEP 1:  Go to the website www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and open the home page.

 

STEP 2: Now you are in the home page of e-filing income tax India’s website. Here you will see some quick links. You will find an option “Check Refund Dispatch status”. Click on this option.

 

STEP 3: A Pop up massage will be displayed as shown in the image bellow. Click on the option ‘Continue to NSDL website’ option to check it without login to e-filing income tax website.

 

STEP 3: A new page will be opened where you need to enter your PAN number, assessment year and the captcha code shown in the box. You should keep in mind that the assessment year for which you wish to see the status should enter correctly. After entered all the details click on the ‘proceed’ option.

 

STEP 4: In this new page your status of dispatching income tax refund will be displayed. If your refund has not sent to your bank account it will show as “No record found”. If it sent to your bank then date of sending refund to your bank and the other details will be displayed.
