How to update mobile number in driving license online in India?

          Hi guys in this blog we discuss about 'how to update mobile number in driving license online in India. For receiving driving license related communication with RTO we should update mobile number  in our driving license. May be you have not given your mobile number at the time of applying for driving license. May be your mobile number which was given at the time of applying for driving license currently not in your hand. In such conditions you can update mobile number online without visiting RTO office. 

        All states/UTs have not given this facility. You should check is your state is in this list or not. While you continue the process then you will find the option to select your state. If in that drop down menu you will not find your state then your will know that your state is not offering that facility.

        How to update mobile number in driving license in India : We are discussing here the step by step process of updating mobile number in Indian driving license. Follow the following steps without skipping.

        STEP 1: Go to Google and sear www.parivahan.gov.in and click on the first search result (Home parivahan sewa, Ministry of Road Transport). It will redirected you to the home page of Parivahan Sewa website of Indian Government.

        STEP 2: You will find an option 'online services' on the upper bar of the page. Click on it. There will be opened a another list of option under this option. Here you also see a option 'Driving License Related Services'. Click on this option.

           STEP 3: After click on 'Driving License Related Services' another page will open where you will have the option of selecting your state. This is the place where you can know that your state is offered the facility or not. If your state is listed in this list then online services can be used for your state. Select your state from which you have issued your driving license. 

            STEP 4: After selecting the name of state a new page will open where you will see an options list on the right side of the page. Click on the first option 'Apply online'. Clicking on the first option another list of options will be opened. Find the option 'Mobile Number Update' in this list and click on it.

            STEP 5: Clicking on that option it redirected to a new page where you have to select criteria form the drop down menu. Select it as Driving License because you are going to update mobile number in driving license. If you wish to update mobile number in learner license or conductor license then choose that option. After selecting the criteria another option will open where you have to enter your license issuing date, license number and date of birth as per driving license. Enter all of them and click on 'Submit'.

            STEP 6: In this new page the details of your driving license will be displayed. You will see your name, father's name, driving license number, date of birth and existing mobile number. Now click on the option 'Proceed'.

        STEP 7: Again you will redirected to a new page where you will have the option of updating your mobile number. You need to enter your new mobile number, confirm mobile number and the reason behind the changing of mobile number. Enter all the details and click on 'proceed'.

        STEP 8: An OTP will be sent to your new mobile number, enter that mobile number and click on 'submit'. Now your mobile number will be successfully updated.
