How to link AAdhaar number to SBI account?

Link your aadhaar number to SBI account:

      In India today's one of the most popular and effect-able identity cum address proof document  is aadhaar card. Now as govt. rule all the customer should be link their aadhaar number to their bank account. To link aadhar number with your SBI bank account you need not go to bank. You can link aadhar number from your home. 

      Here I describe the simple step to link aadhar to your SBI account.

STEP 1 - In this first step you have to log in to your account with internet banking ID and password.

STEP 2 - After logged in to online SBI, you will see the home page of internet banking. You will see a list of shortcuts to the left of the page. You see there an option "Link Your Aadhaar Number". Click on that.

STEP 3 - Here you will redirect to a another page. Here you see a form shown in the image bellow. Write down the form with correct character. And then click on 'submit'.

STEP 4 - An OTP will receive on your registered mobile number registered with bank. Write down the OTP on the specific place and click on Submit.

STEP 5 - An reference number will generate, keep the reference number for further use. It is generally takes 5-7 days, 

HOW TO CHECK STATUS OF AADHAAR LINKING?

      To check the status of aadhar linking with your SBI account -
1. log in to www.onlinesbi.com with your SBI internet banking ID password.
2. Click on Link your Aadhaar number"
3. In this new page you see a form, and will see the "enquary option" click on that.

4. A reference number will shown there. Chose the reference number and click on ' submit'
5. Then you will see the aadhar linking status .
