How to add beneficiary to SBI account for fund transfer.

      If you want to fund transfer from one SBI account to another SBI or other bank account using internet banking, you have to add beneficiary for transfer. To add beneficiary you have to follow following few steps. Here is the steps how to add beneficiary to SBI account.

STEP 1 - Go to oonlinesbi.com and login with your internet banking ID password.

STEP  4 - You will be redirected to the SBI Internet Banking home page.  Then click on 'Profile' just above your home page., and log in to profile section by profile password.

STEP 5- Here in this page click on ' manage beneficiary'

STEP 6- In this page you have ,choose beneficiary type. Choose one from the list as you required. Such as within SBI intra bank, outside SBI inter bank. Let us select inter bank beneficiary.

STEP 7 - After click on inter bank beneficiary a new page will open, where you see a form, where you have to fill correct data. Here you have to fill account number of payee, address of payee, transfer amount limit, IFSC code of payees branch etc. Thereafter accept the terms and conditions and finally click on submit.

STEP 7 - In the meantime an OTP on the registered mobile number will be received. Now click on 'Approve ' to the upper bar of the page. 

STEP 8 - In this step click on 'aprove beneficiary' and it will say you to enter the onetime password received on your registered mobile number with bank. Put the password. And your beneficiary will approved. 

STEP 9 - Now click on 'view' you will see the list of beneficiaries. But your newly added beneficiary will show 'activation pending'. Now it will take one day to activate. It will automatically activated in the next day morning. Then you can send money when you want.
