How to add nominee in DigiLocker account:
To add nominee
to DigiLocker account you will need the nominee mobile number, Aadhaar number
and date of birth. Hence keep these credentials handy. Now follow the following
steps.
STEP 1: Go to DigiLocker mobile app and login to your account using mobile
number and MPIN.
STEP2: Now you are logged in to your account. Your account’s dashboard will be
appeared on the screen. Click on the ‘Nominee’ option from the option displayed
on the screen.
STEP 3: You are redirected to add nominee page. A message about nominee
addition will be appeared on the screen. Read this message and click on ‘Add
Nominee’ button.
STEP 4: A form will be appeared. Enter the nominee name, date of birth, gender,
Aadhaar number of nominee, relationship of nominee with you, mobile number and
email address (optional) of nominee. Enter all the details and click on ‘submit’.
STEP 5: An OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered with DigiLocker.
Enter the OTP and click on ‘Submit’.
The nominee will
be added to your DigiLocker account. This is the process how to add nominee to
